In our third instalment, we speak to Hannah Souter, Creative Director of boutique graphic design studio @hannah_design_studio.
Please tell us a little bit about who you are and what you do.
I am Hannah, Creative Director of boutique graphic design studio @hannah_design_studio where I create visual identities for New Zealand fashion houses such as La Tribe & Marle as well as creating brand identities for businesses in the hospitality, lifestyle and most recently the interiors industry.
Can you describe your style in three words?
Refined, Relaxed, Timeless
What shoes are you wearing now that makes you feel most like yourself?
On high rotation at the moment are my trusty Elke Braided & the new addition of the Isla Braided Sandal - love them with pants, jeans, skirts & floaty dresses for summer.
What is your earliest shoe memory?
Ballet Shoes - I danced from when I was 4 -14 so ballet shoes right to through to points spark vivid memories from my childhood.
If you could have any shoe in the world what would it be?
There are too many to choose from!
What do your shoes say about you?
Comfort, I live in flats - I’m a sandal, slides or sneakers girl!
What are your favourite pair of La Tribes right now and how are you wearing them?
Since moving to the beach my style is a lot more relaxed, I am constantly wearing sandals, even in winter. At the moment I am loving the return of denim to my wardrobe and any kind of matching set, double denim and silk sets, along with my Elke Braided Sandals and new Amelia La Tribe bags (I had the cream and loved it so much I got the black). The bag conveniently fits in my bike basket, along with a
bottle of rose!

Listening to: Frazey Ford & having I’m also having a renaissance with Pearl Jam
Reading: I recently went on holiday and brought one book to read, but am yet to open it! I love a magazine, I am renovating at the moment so am constantly buying interiors magazines, I love The New Era Magazine it’s not only has beautiful interiors but the graphic design is so chic.
Watching: I just finished Bear, completely obsessed with everything about this show!
Eating out at: In Summer I love to bike down to Alpino in Summer for Aperol Spritz in the sun!
Coveting: I was just in LA & I would be happy with anything from The Row, that stores interiors are is so beautiful along with everything in it!
Dreaming of: A new kitchen & bathroom, but first a trip to Europe next year!
